Thank you for your interest in supporting Reggie's Legacy. You are helping 2 wonderful organizations who help to mold our youth. Our youth are our future and without these organizations our youth wouldn't have a safe place to go and the mentors they need to succeed.
You may ask "How do I get involved?" Below are many ways that you can participate in Reggie's Legacy, The Boys and Girls Club, and Partners for Youth Opportunity.
Silver Package: $250
Gold Package: $500
Platinum Package $1000
If you have any questions about sponsoring please email us for more information.
We have had bowling tournaments as well as golf tournaments. You can play in the tournaments by signing up online and sending your money in for your team or individual. We do need everyone signed up and sending money in by the deadlines on the tournament pages.
We give gift bags full of goodies to all golfers and we are always in need of bags as well as items to put into the bags. If you are interested in sponsoring our bags then we will put your logo on the bags. If you have products that you'd like to include in the bags then please email us and we will get those products included in the bags.
We also raffle off products and gift cards that are donated to the foundation. If you have anything you would like to donate to Reggie's Legacy then please email us. Thank you for your support.
We are always in need of volunteers at the event and before the event. If you have a talent or specialty that you think could help Reggie's Legacy please email us. We will need help the weekend before the tournament getting the gift bags together and other things to prepare for tournament. We also need help the day of the tournament with registration, selling raffles, taking pictures, and other opportunities.
There are 4 ways you can volunteer with Partners for Youth Opportunity. You can be a Community-based Mentor, Job-based Mentor, School-based Mentor, and Tutoring-based Mentor.
Community-based mentors are the student's "all-purpose" mentor who they look to for general support. Effective mentors are good listeners who enjoy teens, are patient and persistent, and are open to new experiences. Students and mentors are matched for gender and common interests.
Job-based mentors are adults who supervise a PYO student at their summer internship site. Partners for Youth Opportunity students who have made good grades and participated fully in the program during the school year are eligible to interview at internship sites for 6-week internships in the spring.
Partners for Youth Opportunity students choose their own school-based mentors. At the beginning of each school-year, each student identifies a teacher they would like to meet with at least one hour/month at school.
Tutoring mentors meet with a Partners for Youth Opportunity student twice a week for focus on that student's "challenge classes", two subjects that the student has identified as their most challenging subjects.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at the Boys & Girls Club in your area. If you are interested in working directly with youth, consider coaching one of their athletic teams such as football, basketball and cheerleading.
Our Get Involved! volunteer program brings our youth together with members of the community who have specialized skills in the arts and certain disciplines.
With the variety of programs they offer, funding and materials are always in great demand. Donations are always welcomed and contributions are tax-deductable. We set up a memorial fund in Reggie Andrews' name when he passed and have been contributing to it ever since. We are very proud to keep this going since the Boys & Girls Club played such a big part in Reg's life.
In addition to monetary contributions, donations of goods and/or services are greatly appreciated and immediately put to use. Items such as markers, crayons, construction paper, glue, tape, etc. are frequently used in their Arts & Crafts room. Old CDs, DVDs and VHS videos find a second home in their Performing Arts Center. Their Technology Center is always looking for educational games and software, and may be able to put your old PC to good use.
If you find that you are unable to participate or volunteer in our events but would still like to help support Reggie's Legacy then you can Donate directly to Reggie's Legacy.
